This is a naturally processed coffee, whereby the cherries are allowed to dry and ferment in their "natural" state. The result is a geyser of lush tropical flavors: mango, passionfruit, and papaya. The cup is juicy, vibrant, but not overly acidic. Body is medium, allowing the natural flavors to shine. Peru's climate, altitude, and soil conditions are ideal for cultivating great coffee. This is a good example of the country's potential for amazing quality and tremendous value.

“ One of the best examples of what high-altitude farming can add to coffee. Just short of being in-your-face with its intensely juicy tropical fruit, the altitude adds some space to appreciate the complexity and layers in this very inviting coffee. Tends to be better brewed a little lighter; I use 60g per 40 ounces water, Baratza Virtuoso 20 grind, Bonavita drip machine and it's perfect. ”

“ This coffee makes a very nice mild cup. It's smooth, mellow, not bitter and has a natural sweetness. ”

“ My son is the coffee drinker in my house but I will enjoy a cup with him on occasion. This was a smooth, medium roast coffee with subtle notes of sweet fruit. We added a bit of sweetness and a splash of cream. The coffee was so fresh and delicious! Decadent! Sip, sip away! ”
