Decaf Raspberry in bulk available for wholesale. Crisp decaf tea with playful raspberry. Candy-like aroma, jammy flavor, tangy dry finish, not too 'cheeky.'
A gentle, natural decaffeination process retains the delicate shape and flavor of the tea leaves. Our decaf teas are decaffeinated using the superior carbon dioxide (CO2) process, which retains the most flavor and antioxidants.
This tea contains trace amounts of caffeine | Steep at 212° for 3 minutes.
The etymology of the word "raspberry" is a little hard to pin down. Some say it may relate to "raspise," a sweet wine from the Mid-15th century. Others say it is more closely related to a Germanic word for thicket. The word "rasp," associated with rough or coarse qualities, might provide a further clue due to raspberries' bumpy appearance. Of course, none of these relate to the term "blowing a raspberry," a phrase which finds its origins in Cockney rhyming slang and wasn't established until the 1800s.
